Who we are:
We are students and alumni of Canadian Universities dedicated to the organization of sailing events and promotion of it's culture at both the competitive and recreational level at Canadian post secondary institutions.
The organization has been ratified and the Canadian Intercollegiate Sailing Association (CICSA) is currently working towards the achievement of our Mission, Vision and Goals.

Mission
To recruit and retain new sailors to the Canadian sailing sport community, and to establish sailing as a Varsity Level University Sport.
CUSA Vision
A team of dedicated Canadian sailors organizing today's collegiate sailors to build a fast, strong community producing tomorrow's World Champions.

Goals
Short Term:
1.Establish a governing body for Canadian University Sailing - Completed
2.Hold regional then National Competitions that are legitamized as so.
3.Hold an annual Student Yachting World Cup qualifier.
4.Get ON THE CYA HUB!
5.Make the University sailing framework ( Competitive and Recreational ) available on canadianUsailing.com, so new clubs can grow and old clubs can improve.
Long Term:
1.Establish a Canadian University Sailing national ranking system.
2.Become a National (CIS) and Provincial (Canada West, OUA, RSEQ, AUS) recognized sport.
3.Become a Varsity Level Canadian Sport at participating Post Secondary Institutions across Canada.
The Canadian University Sailing website has been created to facilitate communication among Sailors and aspiring Sailors at Universities across Canada. The website is wiki based to encourage collaboration and allow everyone to contribute.
